Happy Chuseok!!!
Here in Korea it is
Chuseok right now.
Here in Korea it is
Chuseok right now.
Chuseok is the Korean
version of Thanksgiving
or Erntedankfest (Germany).
Chuseok is the time in Korea when everybody
spends time at home with their families and
the streets are usually empty.
You might guess that there's not much to do during
Chuseok and you're right.
Most of my Korean friends friendly pity me about what
I will do since everybody is busy with their families.
No need to pity!
Tons of other EXPATS to hang out with and have a
great time with.
CHUSEOK can be a great relationship building day!!!
I spent a wonderful time meeting lots of friends
actually who don't seem to celebrate the traditional
way.
The same happened to me on other big holidays (e.g.
Christmas, Easter, etc.) and I did it in 3 countries.
People like to meet. You can always find someone even
on the biggest holidays.
And the great thing is that you can build a better
connection with that person since it's a "special day"
and more memorable.
Who do you want to meet and upgrade your relationship
Who do you want to meet and upgrade your relationship
with on the next big holiday?
Get excited,
Ben
