Too Many Presentation Are a Waste of Time! by Ben A. Ratje

Most presentations are nothing but a chit-chat.

Sad…but true!

After most presentations, no audience takes action.

Imagine after Obama’s presentations no one voted for him.

Imagine after JFK’s moon speech no one did anything.
(Armstrong wouldn’t have his big moment)

Imagine after Steve Jobs giving one of his product presentations

no one goes out and buys the next iPod or Mac.

It would have been a waste of their and their audience’s time.

EVERY presentation needs to lead to some sort of ACTION.

One way to do so is to simply tell your audience at the end of

your presentation SPECIFICALLY what they should do.

If you want to take it one step further, you can ask your audience

to write those action steps down. Another way is to give them

printous with the action steps you want them to take.

Get your audience to take action after your presentation –

WHATEVER IT TAKES! (...make it worth their while and yours!)

Get excited,

Ben
